My husband is a wheelchair user and has a companion card, we found out that the Kalamunda Hotel offers patrons with their carer who have a companion card a meal free for the carer. It was really lovely for us to be able to go out for a meal together. Limited finances mean this is not something we have really been able to enjoy. Now it is something we can budget to do more regularly. I found the staff really easy to deal with they have good communication skills when providing service to someone with a disability. They made no assumptions and simply asked what they could do to assist us. The Kalamunda Hotel provided us with a great experience that we will certainly repeat.
