It’s back! This year the City’s annual Commemorative Planting Ceremony will celebrate babies born between May 2023 and April 2024 to parents living in the City.
Families are invited to register to take part in the community planting day on Friday, 5 July 2024 at Jacaranda Springs, High Wycombe, Ledger Road Reserve, Gooseberry Hill, and Maamba Reserve, Wattle Grove, where plaques displaying all baby's names will be installed.
Families will also receive a personalised certificate for their child/ren and a plant to take home.
Planting a tree for your child is a wonderful way to celebrate their life - as they grow, so does their tree!
As with previous years, plants are allocated on a first come, first served basis, and if all plants from one species are allocated you may receive your second choice.
