Events and festivals enhance our lifestyles, boost tourism, create volunteering opportunities, while supporting local economy and building community connections.

To provide our community and its visitors with opportunities to experience and participate in a range of dynamic events, unique experiences and cultural activities, the City of Kalamunda has developed an Events Strategy supported by a Community Event Donation and Sponsorship program.

Community Workshop

The City is hosting a workshop for groups who are interested in getting insight into the grant application process, how to apply, and what to consider when hosting an event in the City.
Date: 15th March 2019 10am - 2pm
Location: Zig Zag Cultural Centre Seminar Room, 50 Railway Road, Kalamunda

Event Sponsorship and Donations Program

Each financial year, the City offers event organisers the chance to receive funding support for their community event. Applicants must complete the nomination form, which will then be assessed and funding awarded to the successful applicants.
Applications for events in the 2019/2020 Financial Year are now open
Sponsorship and Donations Applications close on 30 March 2019.
