On the 15th of June 2018 an application for a proposed Extension to Aged Care Facility at Lot 7 (24) Valencia Road, Carmel was refused by the Metro East Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP).
The Applicant appealed the decision with the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT), with modifications made to the proposal through mediation. The JDAP has been invited to reconsider its decision, pursuant to section 31 of the State Administrative Tribunal Act 2004.

These sessions are informal and give the community the opportunity to interact with planning staff on a one-on-one basis.
