    The City of Kalamunda has received a development application for a proposed Neighbourhood Centre comprising of Shops, Offices, Tavern, Restaurant (café) and a Medical Centre at Lot 320 (31) Maida Vale Road, Maida Vale. The application is being assessed by the City and will be determined by the Metro East Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP).

    The following documents have been provided as part of the application:

    Community Information Evening
    Please be advised that the City will be holding a drop-in community information evening, as detailed below:

    Date: 20th of March 2019 between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
    Location: City’s Administration Centre Function Room, 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda (access from the Railway Road side of the building).

    The purpose of the session is for the City’s planning staff to assist the public in interpreting the plans for the proposal that will be on display and answer any questions. These sessions are informal and give the community the opportunity to interact with planning staff on a one-on-one basis.

    The City of Kalamunda has received an application for a Local Development Plan (LDP) for Lot 25 (7) Gilba Place, Maida Vale.

    The Local Development Plan seeks to provide development guidance for the subsequent residential development of the site.

    The Local Development Plan can be also viewed at the City of Kalamunda Administration Centre located at 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda during office during business hours.

    Proposal within land zoned Special Use (Place of Worship) under Local Planning Scheme No.3 (LPS3)

    Notice is hereby given that the Local Government of the City of Kalamunda has received an application for the purpose of Alterations and Additions to existing buildings (Place of Worship) at Lot 503 – 105 Watsonia Road, Maida Vale.

    Plans and documents setting out an explaining the development application are now deactivated and are no longer available online as the comment period has now concluded.

    Alternatively, plans and documents will be open for inspection during the comment period at the City’s Administration Offices located at 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda, during office hours.
