Comments closed 5pm on Friday, 30 September 2018

The provision of land for Industrial Development in the City of Kalamunda provides economic value to the community. Accessible, well designed industrial developments ensure on-going economic growth and sustainability for the City of Kalamunda and the greater Perth metropolitan area.

The vision of the Draft Industrial Development Strategy is to enhance and expand upon our industrial precincts to accommodate future growth and diversity in industrial land uses and develop modern, efficient and attractive industrial estates that provide for the local and regional community. It will ensure that future industrial development is delivered to optimise community benefit by providing direction to guide the future provision and management of industrial estates.

The Strategy will take into consideration current and future population projections, housing and demographics when assessing the Industrial development needs of the community to ensure economic stability. The Strategy will assess all proposed and existing industrial sites within the City and will attract interest from the wider community.
