To provide our community and it's visitors with opportunities to experience and participate in a range of dynamic events, unique experiences and cultural activities, the City of Kalamunda has developed an Events Strategy supported by a Community Event Donation and Sponsorship program. Events and festivals enhance our lifestyles, boost tourism, create volunteering opportunities, while supporting the local economy and building community connections.
To further develop this and our Events program, the City of Kalamunda would like to hear from you. Please contribute through the Events Survey. This closed for comment on the 6th June 2018.
Event Sponsorship and Donations Program
The Event Sponsorship and Donations program runs each financial year, with nominations usually opening mid-year for several months. Applicants must complete the application form, which is assessed based on the information provided and the event's community value. Funding is awarded to successful applicants based on merit. Applications must be received a minimum of 3 months prior to the event taking place.

Kalamunda Community Events Workshop Date/Time: 15th June 2018 10:00am - 2:00pm Location:Zig Zag Cultural Centre Seminar Room, 50 Railway Road Kalamunda About: Thisworkshop is for all Community Groups and Event Organisers to gain information in detail on the Event Sponsorship and Donations program. This workshop will assist events organisers and community groups write a fantastic application and build collaboration to create a successful events industry in the City of Kalamunda. Each application received will be considered and processed. Applicants will receive written notification of the outcome. Most events will have conditions attached to their approval and these will be clearly outlined in the letter.
