A 10 year vision for Kalamunda - your chance to comment

The City of Kalamunda is calling for comments on a 10 year vision for Kalamunda town centre, captured in the draft Kalamunda Activity Centre Plan 2019 (KACP).

The KACP draft put simply, outlines a vision for the look, amenity and utility of the Kalamunda town centre for the next 10+ years. It is an important document that explores the exciting opportunities that the Kalamunda area offers to re-invigorate retail, built, open and social spaces, transforming the area into an attractive hub for visitors, residents and business alike.

Kalamunda businesses and residents alike were involved in the design of the draft, through a range of workshops, surveys and conversations held in 2018. Those ideas and comments are incorporated throughout the draft plan and now is your chance to provide your feedback.

    Which documents do I read?

You can download your own copy of the plan, selecting the first document at the top right hand corner in the 'Document Library' of this page.

If you would like more background information, we also recommend you review Parts 1 and 2, underneath the vision document.

There are eight appendices containing different plans, reports and guidelines supporting the recommendations in the KACP, including the 'Landscape Master Plan' that will provide further context.

NOTE: Document library updated on 29 July 2019. Refer to Kalamunda Activity Centre Plan Report: Table 5 and Appendix A: Table 2 and 7.2 for more details.
