The City of Kalamunda resolved at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 27 May 2025 to advertise the proposal to make a Bush Fire Brigades Local law 2025.
Purpose
The purpose of this local law is to provide for the establishment, organisation and maintenance, administration, and funding of bush fire brigades in the City of Kalamunda.
Effect
The effect of this local law is that bush fire brigades will be organised and managed to comply with changes in the law and operational practice.
A copy of the proposed local law may be inspected at the City of Kalamunda Administration at 2 Railway Rd, Kalamunda during normal office hours. Electronic copies of the local law can be downloaded from the document library to the right.
