Bike Plan 2026 - have your say!

Help shape the future of cycling and micromobility across our City.

We’re updating our Bike Plan and want to hear from the people who use, or would like to use, our cycling network. Whether you live or work locally, commute through, or visit to enjoy our trails and recreation areas, your feedback will help us plan safer, more connected routes for everyone

This engagement is an opportunity to look into what’s working, what needs improvement, and set our priorities for the next 10 years.

Whether you ride every week (or day!) or haven’t been on a bike for years, we want to hear from you.

Tell us:

  • What’s working
  • Where do we need to improve
  • What facilities would you like to see
  • How can we get you on your bike

You don’t need to be a regular cyclist to take part.

You can submit your feedback via the online form below or via one of these options:

FAQs

The Bike Plan is a strategic document that guides how the City plans and delivers cycling related programs and infrastructure in our local area. The plan helps us identify priority areas so we can progress plans for a safer and connected network of trails, pathways and shared roads.

The previous Bike Plan was endorsed in 2017. Cycling needs and patterns have changed over time, so we are asking our community to help us understand what their needs are based on their current cycling patterns and where our current and future priority areas should focus.

All feedback collected during the community consultation will be carefully reviewed and considered by the project team. It will help identify community priorities, inform decision-making, and guide updates to the Bike Plan. Where possible, feedback will be reflected in improvements to infrastructure, services, and future planning.
