Amendment 111 to Local Planning Scheme No. 3 – Lot 500

The City of Kalamunda has received a development application for Public Works – Civic Use (Police Station) at the above-mentioned property.

Please be advised the City is not the responsible authority, as in accordance with Section 6 of the Planning and Development Act 2005, the local planning scheme does not apply. Approval is required under the Metropolitan Region Scheme with the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) the responsible authority. The City will provide a recommendation and summary of submissions to the WAPC to inform their assessment.

Further, the development application has been lodged to the Development Assessment Panel for determination with the Outer Metropolitan Joint Development Assessment Panel the determining authority. The WAPC is required to prepare a Responsible Authority Report (RAR) that provides a comprehensive assessment of the application and a recommendation to the Panel.

All associated documentation to the proposal can be found via the document library. Alternatively, the proposal can also be viewed at the City of Kalamunda Administration, 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda during office hours.
