You told us, we listened. The City of Kalamunda is seeking feedback on location and concept plans for enclosed dog parks.

We understand that the community would like to see more pawsome facilities for our furry friends. Fenced dog parks will create a space for exercising and socialising dogs for the benefit of both the dogs and their human best friend.

Background

The City undertook an investigation into the feasibility of fenced dog exercise parks with regard to opportunities, constraints, facility need, local demand based on the rate of dog ownership and individual site assessment and identified two potential sites. The City has developed preliminary concept plans for two proposed fenced dog parks at:

• Elmore Way Park in High Wycombe
• Federation Gardens, Hartfield Park in Forrestfield

Fenced dog exercise parks create a space for exercising and socialising dogs in a safe and controlled environment for the benefit of both the dogs and their owners.
