Draft Local Planning Policy 35 - Hatch Court Light Industrial Precinct – Adoption for Public Advertising

Public comment period has concluded.

The City of Kalamunda (City) is seeking comment on the draft Local Planning Policy 35 – Hatch Court Light Industrial Precinct (Draft LPP 35).

At the July 2022 Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM), Council resolved to approve the Draft LPP 35 for the purposes of public advertising.

Currently, Local Planning Scheme No.3 (LPS3) requires a Local Structure Plan (LSP) to be prepared and approved prior to development occurring for specific lots listed in table 4 of LPS3.

The purpose of Draft LPP 35 is to facilitate development of lot 1499 Stirling Crescent (listed in Table 4 of LPS3) which is reasonably able to be developed without the need for a LSP to coordinate a specified planning outcome.

Documentation relating to the Draft LPP 35 including the July 2022 OCM minutes and detailed planning report are available for viewing for 60 days at the City of Kalamunda Administration, 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda or on this page via the Document library and important links.

If you would like to comment on the Draft LPP 35, please provide a written submission via email at enquiries@kalamunda.wa.gov.au or via post: City of Kalamunda PO Box 42, Kalamunda 6926.

Submissions on the draft LPP 35 must be lodged by 5pm on 25 October 2022.

The City will also be holding a public information session commencing 4:30pm-6:30pm on Wednesday 14 September 2022 at the City’s Administration Office, 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda. The session will start with a brief presentation of the Draft LPP 35 and will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
