    What happens to my feedback?

All comments, ideas and suggestions received from the City’s engagement activities are collated for feedback in reports. These reports assist in Council-decision making processes. These processes may include development of strategies, programs and activities.

What is the etiquette to participate in the on-line activities?

In order to play a positive part in any of the discussions and to give your views maximum impact we encourage you to follow the etiquette guide set out in the Forum Etiquette & Moderation guide.

    How are comments moderated?

Every comment is valued for its content.  This engagement platform allows everyone to have an equal say. This brings out many different ideas and viewpoints.  A single comment may have as much influence as 100 comments if the idea is a good one.

Moderation is carried out by Bang the Table Pty Ltd who are independent to Council.  The moderators do not edit or alter any comments and will only remove comments deemed to be significantly off topic, offensive or malicious, in which case they are removed from the site immediately.  Comments that do not adhere to the moderation rules and terms and conditions will be removed and you will be notified of this by email.

What rules apply to the online engagement?

Participation is governed by terms that you are asked to agree with when you register to participate. Read the Terms of Use.

How can I provide feedback or make suggestions not relevant to the engagement activity being undertaken?

As of October 2017, the City of Kalamunda's public comments began being listed on this platform. For all other information prior to this please contact us for further information.

Alternatively, if you would like to provide us with any other questions, feedback or suggestions, please can go to our Report It section and submit and online form or forward an email to enquiries@kalamunda.wa.gov.au.

Your request will be forwarded to the relevant officer to provide a response. We will endeavour to reply to your questions in a timely manner with the most accurate information that is available.

    Is my privacy protected?

Your privacy is important to us and is protected.

The City will only use your email address to invite you to participate in new projects and update you on existing projects.  The information you provide is only used to enable Council to have a better understanding of how programs and policies impact across the different demographics with our local government area.
