As part of Kalamunda Connected, the City wants to raise awareness and recognition of those that contribute to connect our community. Part of this, is celebrating those Good Neighbours that help us feel at home and connected to our community. Good Neighbours play an important role in building community connection. When you connect with members of your street and your community, you make new friendships and form deeper connections. Good neighbours make such a valuable contribution to the lives of others and enrich our own. We would like your stories about the Good Neighbours of Kalamunda, so we can celebrate them and the connections they make.

    My community are my neighbours

    I live in a great little street near Kalamunda SHS. My neighbours are are one of the great reasons that  makes living in Kalamunda awesome. Some are older adults who have great stories and wisdom to share, some are my age and we laugh and chat while having a quiet beer of a Friday evening. Some have younger families and hearing the laughter of children as they play in our street brings a smile to us all.
