A plan for our community's health, safety and wellbeing.

The City of Kalamunda recognises that health, safety and wellbeing are essential to creating a vibrant community.

In June 2023, we asked the community for their perspectives on how we can create healthy, safe and connected communities. Thanks to your feedback, the City of Kalamunda is now releasing its draft Safe & Healthy Kalamunda 2023-2028 Plan for public comment.

Safe and Healthy Kalamunda is a five-year action plan that details how the City plans to improve community health, safety and wellbeing, while meeting the City’s legislative obligations for public health under the WA Public Health Act 2016.

The plan has four focus areas:

๐Ÿฅ— Healthy Living;

๐ŸŽ‰ Healthy Community

Healthy & Safe Environment; and

๐Ÿค Healthy Partnerships and Healthy Economy.

Before putting the finishing touches on the plan - we need your input to ensure that the plan will meet the needs of our community and achieve our mission of fostering a Thriving Community through Health, Wellbeing and Safety Initiatives.

    In June 2023, we asked the community for their perspectives on how we can create healthy, safe and connected communities. This feedback has shaped the first draft of our Safe & Healthy Kalamunda 2023-2028 - our plan that identifies our priorities for public health and safety over the next five (5) years.

    We are now seeking your feedback on the draft plan to ensure it meets the needs of our community.
