Safe & Healthy Kalamunda
A plan for our community's health, safety and wellbeing.
The City of Kalamunda recognises that health, safety and wellbeing are essential to creating a vibrant community.
In June 2023, we asked the community for their perspectives on how we can create healthy, safe and connected communities. Thanks to your feedback, the City of Kalamunda is now releasing its draft Safe & Healthy Kalamunda 2023-2028 Plan for public comment.
Safe and Healthy Kalamunda is a five-year action plan that details how the City plans to improve community health, safety and wellbeing, while meeting the City’s legislative obligations for public health under the WA Public Health Act 2016.
The plan has four focus areas:
๐ฅ Healthy Living;
๐ Healthy Community
Healthy & Safe Environment; and
๐ค Healthy Partnerships and Healthy Economy.
Before putting the finishing touches on the plan - we need your input to ensure that the plan will meet the needs of our community and achieve our mission of fostering a Thriving Community through Health, Wellbeing and Safety Initiatives.
