If the proposed High Wycombe Community Hub (the Hub) is fully funded, it will be the first major development within the Transit-Oriented Development precinct. The proposed Hub will provide essential recreational, sporting, and commercial facilities for the growing community. The City is now providing three workshops, three pop-ups, and a survey to inform elements of design, the naming of the facility, public art and what Stage 2 may look like.

What is Stage 1?

Stage 1 includes:

• An aquatic and recreation centre, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, gym facilities, and wellness amenities
• Flexible community spaces for events, programs, and social connection
• Public amenities such as landscaped open spaces and over 200 car bays to support accessibility and sustainable integration

The long-term benefits of the proposed Hub are significant. With increased access to sport and recreation, the Hub will encourage active, healthy lifestyles and contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of the community. By providing infrastructure for flexible spaces, the project will support community development outcomes and continue to build a strong, connected community that reflects local values, lifestyles, and businesses.
