March 2022 update: Thank you to all who contributed to these important conversations. This consultation has now concluded. You can see the Community Engagement Report here, or in the tabs πŸ‘‰

Do you wash your car in the driveway? Or fertilise your garden? Does your swimming pool flow over from time to time? We want to know what happens with the water meets the road, and the soil, and the rooves of our houses... Once the rain collects all the soluble and insoluble items in its path (detergents, leaves, litter, weed killer, etc) and carries them to streams, creeks, lakes, and other waterways and wetlands... what happens?

The City is working with Curtin University to develop a storm water strategy to help mitigate the risks of storm water contamination, and we want to know if, and how, the community impacts water contamination. Feedback from the survey will form a risk profile, contributing to the City of Kalamunda’s storm water strategy, and will assist in improving the water quality in the City’s waterways.

Can we do more as a community? Can we do more as a City? You tell us!

We'd like to know what you think about the City's water quality take our quick 4 question Kalamunda Flowing Survey below

Additionally, if you live in or near the Lower Helena Valley Catchment, or you have an interest in drainage in this area, we encourage you to take our survey specifically focused on this area: The Lower Helena Valley Catchment Drainage survey.

Consultation closes Wednesday 5pm, 22 September 2021.
