Nominated in recognition of his volunteering work (twice a week) at the Kalamunda History Village, ensuring the paths are clear and that everything looks in tip top shape. Benjamin shares his passion for all things vintage, talking to people about the history of Kalamunda – “making their day”. Benjamin is also recognised for his volunteer work at Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. He works hard feeding animals, cleaning cages, preparing food and his least favourite, “cleaning up’’ after the animals. His desire to protect our local flora and fauna is valued.
