Draft Local Planning Policy - Public Art Contributions

Consultation has concluded
Council at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 27 August 2019 resolved to adopt the draft Local Planning Policy – Public Art Contributions for public advertising.
The purpose of the draft policy is to provide guidance on the format of public art contributions within the City and facilitate contributions from developers for public art for development proposals with a value that exceeds $500,000, at a rate of 1% of the estimated cost of development up to maximum contribution limit of $250,000.
Exemptions apply for single houses, grouped dwellings, ancillary dwellings, building upgrades, heritage development works or any ancillary structures.
