Consultation has concluded

Paper Treasures is a group exhibition of independent print and risograph communities from around the world. This exhibition will be a colourful community celebration of the independent printmaking community.

We are inviting local print-makers who wish to exhibit in this group exhibition to submit print works, particularly risograph prints.

This exhibition will explore our collective memories of creative communities, and so artworks that feature a connection to creative communities, do-it-yourself (DIY) cultures, and early moments of creative connection are preferred.

However, it is not necessary for submissions to stick to this theme.

Things to know before submitting:

  • All successful applicants will be notified by 5pm 22 April 2024.
  • Successful applicants to confirm the offer to exhibit by 5pm 29 April 2024.
  • Exhibiting artists to drop off artwork from 12pm to 4pm Monday 6 May 2024.
  • Work will be installed by the City of Kalamunda from Monday 6 May 2024 to Wednesday 8 May 2024.
  • The exhibition will be open to the public from 10am Saturday 11 May to Sunday 9 June 2024.
  • Artwork to be collected on Monday 10 June 2024 from 10am to 12pm.
