The City of Armadale / The City of Kalamunda / Tourism WA is assisting with a State Government initiative to facilitate sustainable tourism growth within the Perth Hills and undertake a sustainability assessment of the Pickering Brook Townsite.
The Pickering Brook and Surrounds Sustainability and Tourism Strategy will provide strategic planning guidance for tourism-related growth within the Perth Hills.
Tourism development initiatives, including the potential growth of agritourism and the potential expansion of the Pickering Brook townsite, will be investigated as part of developing the Strategy.
Consultation Meetings The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage is inviting the local community to share thoughts and ideas with members of the Strategy Working Group. Face-to-face meetings will be held at the Pickering Brook Sports Club located at 35 Weston Road in Pickering Brook on the following dates and times:
Friday, 6 September 2019 - 9am – 5pm;
Saturday, 7 September 2019 - 9am – 1pm; and
Monday, 9 September 2019 - 9am – 5pm.
