Crystal Brook (Wattle Grove South) Community Engagement and Concept Planning

We thank you for your contribution to the Wattle Grove South community engagement process. The City and Roberts Day greatly value the feedback that has been received and look forward to utilising this information moving forward in the process.

We understand this is a very uncertain and stressful time for the community during the Covid-19 pandemic and the City will support its community as best as it can during this time, including being flexible and innovative during its engagement processes and project delivery.

The City and Roberts Day are intending to continue the process that has been commenced for this project and have reviewed the timeline and the way that activities will be undertaken considering changes necessitated by current circumstances. Despite the situation we remain committed to ensuring the community has ample opportunity to provide further feedback on the Concept Plan that is being prepared and that this can be done in an interactive way.

In terms of next steps, the City expects:

• Early May Advertising of Concept Plans commences. Advertised via letters, emails, social media and engage Kalamunda project page.
• Early / Mid May: Online open house with live Q &A to be delivered through a Webinar platform. Recording of the open house will be made available on the Engage Kalamunda project page for community members who are unable to participate.
• June: Advertising closes
• July: Concept Plans and reports presented to Council for consideration.
