Strategic Community Plan Review

Shaping our Plan
Following our community workshops and surveys we’ve used your ideas to shape our Strategic Community Plan (Plan) and we now need you to take a look and let is know what you like, as well as highlight any area that need further work.
Why does the City need to review the Plan?
Every two years the City of Kalamunda reviews its strategic direction - as required by the State Government Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. Every four years, the City undertakes a major review to ensure we stay up to date with the needs and wants of the community. This approach ensures we can plan and deliver a better future for everyone!
You can read the results of our community engagement regarding the workshops and consultation with community groups that helped shape Kalamunda Advancing – Community Strategic Plan 2031.
Please ensure you have read Kalamunda Advancing 2031 – Community Strategic Plan prior to taking the survey.

Help us plan for the future
Be part of our 'think-tank' as we embark on the four-year review of our Strategic Community Plan.
Reviewing our Strategic Community Plan (the Plan) is important to track the City of Kalamunda's progress against the plan, identify where we can improve and plan our priorities for the future.
The Strategic Community Plan is the highest level plan that the City will prepare. The plan documents the community's vision, outcomes and priorities over a 10-year period. The plan is required to undergo a desktop review every two years, and a major consultative review every four (4) years.
We want to create multiple conversations with as many people in our community, so we can identify the vision for what the future City could look like.
