A recent audit of the City of Kalamunda's libraries has found a low demand for evening-time services. It is expected that demand will decrease further during the winter months.
To ensure our facilities are operating efficiently, we are trialling modified opening hours at our Forrestfield, High Wycombe and Kalamunda Libraries from 2 July to 31 August 2018 (inclusive). Lesmurdie Library hours will remain as is.
The trial will mean that these libraries will close at 6pm on nights they would normally close at 8pm.
If the trial is successful and supported by the community, the modified hours will be implemented during winter every year (from June through August).
We want your thoughts on the proposal to implement modified hours each winter. Take our short survey below to have your say!

We want to know your thoughts on a proposal to modify the opening hours of Forrestfield, High Wycombe and Kalamunda Library every winter, in line with low patronage numbers.
To ensure we are operating efficiently, it is proposed that closing times will be moved to 6pm on evenings where the library would normally close at 8pm.
Tell us if you support the annual implementation of modified winter hours by completing this survey.
