The “Unlocking METRONET’s Potential” prospectus outlines the City of Kalamunda’s vision for delivering the High Wycombe South Residential Precinct. The precinct is an infill opportunity adjacent to METRONET’s High Wycombe Station. It forms the foundation of a strategic advocacy effort to secure $42.2 million in State and Federal funding to deliver critical enabling infrastructure, including roads, drainage, and open space.

Supported by a coordinated Development Contribution Plan (DCP), the prospectus presents a compelling case for unlocking 3,000 dwellings in High Wycombe South and catalysing a further 8,800 homes across the catchment. It also details how the City is partnering directly with landowners through a staged engagement process, combining qualitative and quantitative data to shape development outcomes that reflect lived experience, maximise housing supply, and deliver lasting regional benefit.
